About Me
In her twenties, Dr. Marie Biek was in a car accident that seemed minor at the time — but left her with intense, constant pain between her shoulder blades. Traditional chiropractic helped her function and temporarily reduced the pain, but it was discovering NUCCA upper cervical care that finally resolved what had become a chronic, persistent problem. That experience made her the practitioner she is today.
At her practice in Oakland, California, Dr. Biek specializes in NUCCA upper cervical care — one of the most precisely measured, low-force forms of structural correction available. - 4 months agoDr. Marie is incredible. I've had GI issues, diffuse joint pain, numbness/tingling down my arms, brain fog, depression, and anxiety for many years. I've tried acupuncture, chiropractic therapy, exercise, medications, PT, steroid injections in elbows, wrists, trigger points for spasms. There was a point where surgery was in my future. After a few treatments with Dr. Marie, I started to notice that the arm numbness was going away! My brain fog began to lift, my anxiety lessened, my balance improved, and my neck pain became so minimal. I am shocked with how much better I feel. I now have my 8 and 13 year old seeing Dr. Marie! - 6 months agoI've been seeing Dr Marie for a few months now and she's helped me significantly with a chronic neck issue I've had for years, likely from a car accident when I was a kid. She's helped decrease the pain I was feeling when turning my head, as well as the tingling that I used to get down to my left shoulder after a day's work or when my posture was poor. She was also incredible in helping with an acute neck issue that I had which I believe would have taken a few weeks to resolve, and instead, only took days! Dr Marie has a gentle touch and the style of chiropractic that she does is not your traditional crack and pop. In fact, when we first started and she worked on me, I could barely feel it. And yet, the effects and my results speak for themselves. Highly recommend!

My symptoms have nearly disappeared or recur so infrequently. Dr Biek has a lovely bedside manner and also suggested I taper care as I showed improvement, which I really appreciated.
